From viewing assigned jobs and reviewing customer site history to recording labour, travel, materials and expenses, engineers can manage their work without relying on paperwork or constant communication with the office.

Job & Site Information
Give engineers access to their assigned jobs and the information they need while on site. View customer details, site notes, assets, previous jobs, service history and associated documents, helping engineers understand the work required and access important information without contacting the office.
Job Updates & Voice Transcription
Keep job records accurate and up to date directly from the mobile app. Engineers can update job statuses, capture photographs, record materials, F-Gas usage where applicable and add notes or reports. Built-in voice transcription also allows engineers to dictate reports and notes, review the transcribed text and save it against the job.
Automatic Time & Expense Recording
Reduce manual administration with automatic recording of engineer travel and working time. This information is used to generate timesheets for manager approval, while engineers can also record job-related costs and expenses directly through the app, keeping important information connected to the work carried out.
Purchase Invoicing
Record supplier invoices against approved purchase orders, ensuring every purchase invoice is linked to an authorised order. Scan or upload original supplier invoices, create part invoices when required and maintain supporting records for accurate purchasing administration.
Scheduled Invoicing
Simplify recurring billing for maintenance plans with scheduled invoices. Set the invoicing frequency and amount, then choose whether invoices are automatically sent to customers or created for manual review and sending, giving you flexibility over ongoing billing arrangements.
Accounting Software Integration
Export invoice information from Atom to supported accounting software packages, reducing duplicate data entry and keeping records consistent. Invoices are automatically marked as transferred once exported, while payment status can also be recorded within Atom to help maintain accurate invoice records.
Digital Forms & Signatures
Complete electronic worksheets, inspections, compliance documents and other forms created using Element Survey Tool. Engineers can capture photographs, record inspection results and obtain customer signatures while on site, with completed documents returned to Atom for office staff to access.
Job Completion & Follow-On Work
Give engineers the flexibility to close jobs or identify additional work when completing an appointment. Selecting a follow-on automatically creates a new appointment in Atom for scheduling, while selecting Quote Required creates a quotation for the office team to cost and submit to the customer.
Offline Working & Automatic Sync
Keep engineers working even when mobile connectivity is unavailable. The Atom Site Engineer app supports offline working, allowing engineers to continue recording job information without an internet connection. Once connectivity is restored, the app automatically synchronises the information with Atom, keeping office records up to date.
